It is indicated for eruptions, pustules, and glandular swellings. It has been used in infected sinus with pus forming tendency and other boils of suppurative nature. A need-based, balanced effect is achieved through this medicine in controlling suppurative conditions either by expulsion or absorption. It heals and acts on the basic nature of the suffering.
It is also used as a systemic antiseptic in causes of acne vulgaris, etc.
