Indications: It is useful in cases of sluggish liver functions, fatty liver, and as a supportive treatment for jaundice, infantile jaundice, liver damage from alcohol abuse, biliary colic, and toxic liver damage. It also helps in many disorders of digestion such as indigestion, constipation, flatulence, nausea, vomiting and also in general detoxification of the system. It also controls nausea and vomiting related to liver and biliary disorders. It regulates the digestion and helps in regulating bowel movements hence preventing constipation.
Dosage: Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, 10-20 drops 2-3 times daily. As the symptoms improve, it can be reduced to 1-2 times daily. It can be used for prolonged periods. Children should be given half the adult dose.
